BBNaija 2020: ka3na denies getting intimate with Praise.

Former President Jonathan invited at Financial Times Mozambique Summit for a keynote address



Former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is poised to jet out of the country on another international speaking engagement as he is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Mozambique Economic Summit organised by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper. The Summit which is the fourth in the series is holding on Wednesday in Maputo, capital of  Mozambique.
In announcing the engagement in a recent tweet, the London based newspaper stated: “We are delighted to have  @GEJonathan, President, Federal Republic of Nigeria (2010-2015), joining us to deliver a keynote address.” The former President is expected to share the experience of the economic reforms of his administration’s Transformation Agenda as implemented in some sectors including energy and power, for the benefit of the people of Mozambique.
FT noted in a statement that in line with previous successful editions, “the 2019 Financial Times Mozambique Summit will bring together key ministers, policy makers along with local and international business leaders to debate the reforms and solutions that will facilitate growth, transform challenges into opportunities, and diversify the country’s economy.”
It said further: “Mozambique is now, more than ever, a country of huge potential and tough challenges. Despite political and economic reforms, there is still much work to be done to ensure sustainable economic development spreads across all key sectors.
“Growth prospects for Mozambique remain robust, if efforts continue to address the challenges of diversifying exports, improving infrastructure links, up-skilling the workforce and fostering private-public sector relationships.”

Traders Clash With Ebonyi Revenue Officials, One Dead AUGUST 28, 2019  BY Daily Announcer There was pandemonium in Abakaliki on Wednesday as traders at the Abakpa main market clashed with revenue officials over Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) which allegedly led to the death of one person. Hurricane Dorian leaves 70K people homeless in Bahamas, U.N. says Hurricane Dorian, aiming for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland on Saturday, has left 43 people dead and 70,000 people homeless in the Bahamas, according to the United Nations. Verification: PTAD captures pensioners in Anambra PTAD on verification of Pensioners The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) on Sunday announced that a total of 1, 225 pensioners were verified in the just-concluded Parastatal Pensioner Verification in Anambra. The Team Leader for the Anambra verification, Hajiya Amina Katune-Abdullahi, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka. The ongoing nationwide verification embarked upon by the PTAD was to enhance payment of pensioner’s monthly entitlements and to rid the system of fraud. In the South-East zone, the exercise started on Aug. 26 and will end on Sept. 4 in selected centres in Enugu, Awka and Owerri. At Anambra centre, the exercise lasted for only six days, from Aug. 26 to Aug. 31.
